On December 20, 2006 Travellers Auto Barn received
its certification as an RTA NSW Authorised Inspection
Station, allowing pink slips to be issued at the Sydney
workshop
Until recently, Travellers Auto Barn has had to exclusively
use external authorisation stations to get pink slips
as part of the vehicle registration process for our
fleet of sales and rental vehicles. With the ability
now of our Sydney workshop to award pink slips, the
registration process for vehicles in Sydney will be
somewhat streamlined. It's all part of our commitment
to making roadworthy vehicles available to our customers
at a reasonable price.

Travellers Auto Barn Introduces a Carbon Neutral Option
From early January 2007, Travellers Auto Barn introduced
a surcharge to offset carbon emissions called the Carbon
Neutral Option for all rentals made online. The
optional daily 60cent surcharge will go to the Action
For Climate Change (ACC) program being launched by our
friends at Conservation
Volunteers Australia in early Feb 2007. Details
of the ACC program will follow with the official launch.
Managing Directorof Travellers Autobarn, Peter Burke
is determined to lead the industry in Australia in offsetting
carbon emissions. The program is completely voluntary
and it's a chance for the company and our customers
to make a strong statement about how much we care about
our environment.

From our 6 branches (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane,
Cairns, Darwin and Perth) we offer four classes of vehicles
which are perfect for Australian adventures.
These vehicles come with unlimited kilometres, one-way
rentals, 24 hr roadside assistance, insurance and we
offer generous discounts for long hire (as this is our
specialty!)
Our vehicles are between 3 and ten yrs of age, but
are still well maintained reliable and comfortable vehicles.

Sales are available from each of our branches nationwide,
however customers are also allowed to receive their
buyback in any of the six branches. Also, at times ex
rental vehicles are sold from all branches.
When a customer purchases a car from Travellers Auto
